Florida Federation of Music Clubs

NFMC Associate Memberships

Organizations formed for the purpose of promoting a specific music project such as choral societies, orchestras/orchestral associations, opera companies/guilds, music teachers’ organizations, local alumni chapters of music fraternities or sororities, church choirs/ orchestras/ bands, etc., and groups dedicated to the promotion of a concert series in their own community, may become associate members upon payment of annual dues.

There are many ways to get involved - pick what fits your members most:

  • Study and performance opportunities
  • Competitive awards
  • Local community arts programs
  • Summer music camps
  • Music programs and universities and colleges
  • Music therapy and education programs
  • Legislation for music education, high music standards
  • Opportunities for musicians with disabilities and visual impairments
  • Sacred and inspirational music
  • American Music Month observance each November
  • National Music Week celebration in May
  • Participate in designated NFMC competitions for members only

SENIOR ADULT ASSOCIATE ORGANIZATIONS

Group: One single subscription to Music Clubs Magazine is provided by NFMC for each senior adult associate group. Such associate members may send representatives to the meetings of the federation but they shall not be entitled to make motions nor to vote.  Individual members of Associate Groups are NOT eligible for participation in NFMC Festivals.  Association Group dues: $30. JUNIOR ASSOCIATION ORGANIZATIONS
 

Group: One single subscription to Junior Keynotes Magazine is provided by NFMC for each junior associate group. Such associate members may send representatives to the meetings of the federation but they shall not be entitled to make motions nor to vote. Group entrants may be associate members of the State and National Federations (NFMC Standing Rules, K-1). Individual members of Associate Groups are NOT eligible for participation in NFMC Festivals. Associate Membership in the Student/Collegiate Division shall be Group or Mass Enrollment.
 

STUDENT/COLLEGIATE ASSOCIATE ORGANIZATIONS
 
Group: One single subscription to Music Clubs Magazine is provided by NFMC for each student/collegiate associate group. Such associate members may send representatives to the meetings of the federation but they shall not be entitled to make motions nor to vote. Association Group dues: $30. Download: FORM ME 4-2

Mass Enrollment: College groups, mass enrollment conservatories, schools of music with members in the 19 through 25 age bracket who do not wish active participation in the business affairs of the federation may become associate members through mass enrollment upon payment of dues.

Membership of 50 and under $50.00; 51 members and above, $80.00. Download: FORM ME 4-2
